Yavapai Falls To The Gauchos

The Roughrider basketball team dropped their second consecutive conference game tonight at Glendale Community College, 86-71.

The shooting woes continued as the Gauchos outshot YC 53% to 41%. Yavapai is now 10-11 overall and 6-7 in the conference standings.

Once again, Louis Barraza led the offense with 22 points. Brock Entner dropped 18, Keith Wilson had 10 and 9 rebounds and Brandon Gentry’s line was 9 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists.

YC returns to the home hardwood on Saturday, February 2nd against the #12 ranked Matadors from Arizona Western College. Tip-off will be at 7:30 PM in the Storm Center on the campus of Yavapai College in Prescott.
