YC plays without leading scorer Goldsmith. Dunford picks up the void by scoring 30.
The accolades continue for women’s basketball player Tehani Goldsmith. The NJCAA honored the sophomore transfer as National Co-Player of the Week for her efforts in two wins last week. Goldsmith is the second YC player to be named POW nationally. In 2006-07, Courtney Ault earned the honor.
The Lady Rider basketball team found enough at the end to pull out a 1-point victory over Pima Community College last night in Tucson, 69-68.
The Roughrider basketball team rebounded after a disappointing loss to Mesa on Wednesday to handle Pima Community College on the road last night, 78-59.
The Lady Rider basketball team’s win streak was stopped at 4 by Mesa Community College tonight in the Storm Center, 83-76.
The Roughrider men’s basketball team dropped their fifth conference game tonight to the visiting Mesa Community College Thunderbirds, 93-81.
