The Lady Rider basketball team lost their second consecutive game in the Wolverton Challenge in Twin Falls, Idaho to #10 ranked College of Southern Idaho, 98-65.

YC is now 1-4 overall, the worst start in Head Coach Brad Clifford’s tenure.

CSI took a 43-30 halftime lead and extended that lead early in the second half and ran away with the victory behind 48% shooting and a 55-43 rebounding edge. Yavapai was led by Tehani Goldsmith with 25 points, 3 rebounds and 3 steals. Jonisha Carson netted 16 points and 5 assists and Paris Dunford added 11 points. For her efforts, Goldsmith was named to the all-tournament team.

YC starts conference play on Wednesday, November 28th at home against Phoenix College. YC won both of their encounters with PC last season. The game will tip-off at 5:30 PM in the Storm Center on the campus of Yavapai College in Prescott.
